A guide to ready your horse or pony for a show, all while keeping stress at bay and your bank account intact.
Have you ever yearned to have a go at preparing your horse for a show or dressage competition? Does the thought of plaiting your horse send chills down your spine? Are you eager to discover the secrets of readying your horse or pony for a led or ridden class? If so, this event is designed just for you.
Join Galston local, Camilla Mowbray, a seasoned Equestrian coach and Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner, as she shares her wealth of experience in horse preparation and showing.
On Sunday, September 22, Camilla will host a two-hour session where you can learn the intricacies of readying your horse for the show ring. She will bring two of her own horses for demonstration, and you are invited to bring your own horse to practice alongside her.
Timing: 9:30am - 11:30am
Cost: $20 for GEC members | $30 for non-members
