Awareness of float design, tow vehicle suitability, preparation and transportation of your equine friend safely is a practice that requires knowledge and skill.
Horses are naturally claustrophobic they want to feel safe and remain balanced during movement. These are all a challenge inside a float!
Expand your knowledge on this important topic in a morning practical educational session from 9.30 to 12.00
Topics include:
* Float design and safety features
* Tow vehicle requirements
* Safe working requirements for hitching the float to tow vehicle
* Loading and unloading the horse safety tips
* Feel the floating experience from the horse’s perspective.
* Float loading horsemanship skills with demo horse. Leading to where ideally your horse is not just on the float physically but more importantly mentally and emotionally.
