About the Event
What is a Dressage Protocol Day?
A protocol session is great way to get immediate feedback from a Dressage Judge on what you are doing correctly or incorrectly in a dressage test, or even how to do a dressage test. When you book in, you choose a current EA dressage test and you ride that test in front of the Dressage Judge who will mark you as if you were riding at a competition. After you have ridden your test, the Judge will get out of her car and explain and give instructions on how you can improve on your movements and therefore your marks.
We are very lucky to have G-Level Dressage Judge Sylvia Gordon as our Protocol Judge. Sylvia is a rider, trainer and competitor. As a judge Sylvia knows how easily things can go wrong in a dressage test. When teaching Sylvia breaks down the task into smaller steps, and focuses on the rider's position to help improve their riding. Sylvia's passion is to help nervous and returning riders to overcome their fears and anxieties by improving their confidence.
