The Galston Equestrian Club ("GEC") web site is intended to provide information about the activities of GEC. All care is taken to ensure that the information provided on this site is true and accurate. However, the WebMaster and the Committee of GEC take no responsibility for the consequence, adverse or otherwise, of using the information.
Information provided on this site may contain typographical errors and may be changed or updated without notice. All events run by GEC, and advertised on this site, are subject to the vagaries of the weather so may be cancelled or postponed at any time. Users are advised to visit the GEC web site regularly where every effort will be taken to keep details of competitions and other club activities up to date.
Equestrian activities are inherently dangerous and serious accidents leading to injury, disability, death or damage to property can and do occur.
GEC is not responsible for the content of any sites linked to from the GEC web site and does not accept any responsibility for any content or the use of information included on linked sites. While every care will be taken to ensure that links included on the GEC site are accurate, linked-to sites may become unavailable from time to time.
GEC is not and cannot be held responsible for the content of any sites that link to the GEC web site.

All file uploads and submissions to the GEC web site will be monitored by the WebMaster.
This includes requests initiated from the following GEC web pages:
Material that is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal or otherwise objectionable will not be accepted for publication on the GEC web site.
Any material submitted for inclusion that is deemed by the WebMaster to fit any of the above criteria will be removed forthwith.
Only financial members of GEC are permitted to have information published on the GEC website. Any non-member wishing to place material on the web site must submit a request to GEC Info.
Permission for non-members to publish material on the website may have to be approved by the Executive Committee.
All submissions to the Noticeboard will be approved by GEC Info prior to publication
Conditions - Web Classifieds
GEC reserves the right to:
- Change the Pricing and Details of Advertising Packages without notice
- Change the Category of an incorrectly placed Advertisement
- Delete Bad or Improper words from an Advertisement, or removal of the Advertisement completely
- Delete an advertisement after the expiry date
- Report deliberately incorrect or inaccurate details and misleading advertising
For advertisements to appear online please allow 3-4 business days so that payment can be verified. Once posted on the GEC website, refunds will not be accepted.
If payment cannot be verified within 14 calendar days after an advertisement has been submitted it will be removed from the GEC website completely.
Advertisements will run for a full calendar month. Advertisements older than a calendar month will be removed automatically from the site. A reminder e-mail will be sent to the requester 7 days before this occurs.
Conditions - Merchandise
GEC reserves the right to:
- Delete invalid GEC orders submitted
- Change the Pricing and Details of Merchandise Items without notice
- Discontinue Sale of Merchandise Items without notice
All merchandise purchases are COD or cheque/money order (payments made out to GEC Equestrian Club Inc).
Delivery of purchased goods will be approximately 4 weeks after the order has been received.
Conditions - Volunteering
GEC reserves the right to:
- Change and/or delete deliberately incorrect or inaccurate details provided within the online Volunteers submission form
