Rural Sports Facility (RSF)
A reminder from the GEC Committee regarding the use of the Rural Sports Facility (RSF)
The RSF is a purpose built facility to cater for any equestrian, whether riding on the lovely sand dressed grass arenas, or a ride around the bridle trail. The facility is open daily to the public for free, every day...unless prior booking has been made by a club. You can check if the grounds are open or have been booked by calling 9847 6058 for bookings and 9847 6764 for closures due to rain.
A great opportunity to ride safely either as a change from your home riding turf or in preference to unsuitable safety or grounds standards. A great way to socialise your horse to new areas safely - there is perimeter fencing around the entire facility as well as around the arenas. Toilet and rubbish facilities, day yards and a wash bay (bring your own hose though)!
A great way to practice for upcoming GEC competitions and training days. Checkout the Hornsby Council write up on the RSF.

Durham Park Stud
Durham Park Stud is a Dressage training, breeding and riding school established in the hills district by Tori McBeath. The focus in breeding and training is to produce horses with quality temperaments, conformation and trainability. As a horse enthusiast and keen breeder, Tori purchased dressage stallion, Sir Weltspear to breed quality warmbloods and to use for dressage competition.
While training and breeding are strong passions Durham Park also runs as a riding school teaching children and adults from beginner level on either their own horse or a DP school horse. Tori works closely with students to advance skills and education while developing equal partnerships between horse and rider.
Durham Park has just moved to Arcadia where they offer top class facilities for Lessons, Training, Breeding and Agistment. Children riding camps are also run during school holidays and are a fantastic and fun way to keep riding and meet other keen horse people.
